“[I was myself] 100 percent of the way, from what I wore, to my talent, to what I looked like in interview, what I said in my interview, what I said on stage,” she said. “I really felt comfortable in my own skin.”
He learned to read in both Korean and English when he was 17 months old, mastered algebra at four, calculus at seven and then started teaching himself more advanced math out of books.
“It’s really interesting how fundamental [juggling] is to who I am,” Presberg said. “[With juggling,] you can impose any limitation and still have infinite possibilities.”
“There’s a lot of community pride [in Ithaca], which is definitely something you need to do the alphabet,” he said. “[The painting contains] what I would think signifies Ithaca. People who have lived here for a long time might have a different opinion.”
“People listen to you when you have the crown and the title, and so I want to gain more experience I want to talk to more people and get to know Ithaca and Seneca Falls even better,” said Neetu Chandak ’18.
“In this life, what we do is bigger than just us,” Cooper said, explaining his decision to run. “I see the city council race as just that. It is bigger than me — it is for the community and it is about creating substantial change.”
“I wanted to really challenge myself mentally and physically and to see if I am ready for the Himalayas,” he explained. “As a climber living and loving America, why would you not want to climb Denali?”
“With all the bad connotations that sneakers have in today’s society — unethical production methods, ridiculously high markups on prices and violence over the rare sneakers, I want to show people that there can be some good to come of this article of clothing that I love so much,” Abaraoha said.
