Cornell admits the class of 2025 as applications dramatically increase in an admissions cycle during an eventful year.
Beginning with the Class of 2024, the University will stop biannually reporting accepted student application numbers and demographics — an uncommon move among top-tier universities.
Cornell admitted 5,288 applicants for the Class of 2022. At a 10.3 percent acceptance rate and with 54 percent being students of color, this Class has the lowest acceptance rate and is the most diverse in the university’s history.
