In today’s digital era, LinkedIn has become an essential tool for many to find job opportunities, network and cultivate career interests. While a handful might consider themselves to be pros of the work network, for those just starting out on LinkedIn, the art of marketing yourself online can prove to be tricky.
Ithaca-based GiveGab, a for-profit company innovating in the nonprofit space, seeks to make the process of connecting nonprofits to donors seamless, user-friendly and secure, according to Charlie Mulligan MBA ’11, company CEO and co-founder.
The SC Johnson College of Business launched an online accounting certificate as part of their eCornell initiative. The program is designed for working professionals seeking additional credentials or pre-MBA students who want to get a head start.
A key event in SWIB’s Emerging Leaders Program is the semesterly trip to New York City, where members have a chance to visit companies such as Goldman Sachs and Ernst-Young to learn more about their workplace culture and network with current employees.
