If Cornell men’s hockey has a 2020-21 season, Tristan Mullin will wear the ‘C’ and Kyle Betts, Cody Haiskanen and Brenden Locke will wear the ‘A.’
Green, who played in all 29 games with the Red last season, was honored as the ECAC’s Best Defensive Defenseman in March.
Friday’s announcement marks the end of Barron’s collegiate career, which saw him tally 84 points in 98 games. He was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award last season.
Cornell’s women’s and men’s teams were both No. 1 in the country at the end of a season cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This marks the first time that either player has been recognized as an All-American.
The Red will welcome four new members to the team next year.
The top two teams in the country at the end of the 2019-20 season will face off in a two-game series at Lynah Rink in late October.
While the men’s and women’s teams saw their runs in the postseason cut short, they both achieved the end-of-season No. 1 ranking for their efforts throughout the year.
Morgan Barron led the team with 32 points and was one of the league’s top two-way forwards.
