Last spring, the golf team struggled to find consistency and eventually ended its 2007 season on a sour note — finishing last in the Ivy League championships.
The team has turned it around for the fall season, however, as head coach Matt Baughan has coached his team to a pair of strong finishes in its first two tournaments. Led by sophomore Robert Cronheim’s 142, the Red placed third overall out of 14 teams at the St. Bonaventure Invitational.
This past weekend, the duo of Cronheim and senior co-captain Robbie Fritz — who combined for a score of +8 — helped the Red place third overall on its home course in the Cornell Invitational.
