A dump truck crashed into the Community School of Music building near Seneca Way and Seneca Street — about a block from the Commons — Thursday afternoon. The truck heavily damaged the building and three unoccupied vehicles in the parking lot. The truck’s driver, Riney Whyte, was airlifted to Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania following the roll-over. He was in critical condition Thursday evening, according to an officer on the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
