  • Junior Siwula Named Academic All-America

    By December 1, 2006

    Body:
    Junior tailback Luke Siwula was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America first team yesterday. To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must be either a varsity starter or reserve, performing in the classroom and on the gridiron. All honorees have posted a grade point average of over 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 and have reached at least a sophomore academic standing. Siwula was rewarded for his hard work outside the lines of Schoellkopf Field, where the Industrial and Labor Relations major has posted a 3.60 GPA.

  • M. Hockey Hosts RPI, Union

    By December 1, 2006

    Body:
    Coming off a disappointing split of a two-game series with upstart Wayne State (3-10, 1-1 CHA), No. 13 Cornell (7-3, 4-2 ECACHL) will look to make a statement with two home games against in-state ECACHL rivals. RPI (4-3-4, 1-0-1 ECACHL) and Union (5-3-2, 1-1 ECACHL) will come into town to face the Red on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
