With nothing but below-freezing weather on the hill, it’s time to get cozy with these four delicious vegan beverages.
While CELSIUS drinks and their nutrition labels may appear clean, health-oriented and energizing on shelves, a lot more is going on behind the scenes with this company’s class action lawsuit and marketing promotion. These factors very well could be related to the recent seemingly absurd surplus of drinks found in convenience stores across campus and the reason behind how these drinks have become so accessible and popular at Cornell. Despite being in a complicated and intriguing situation, these drinks are a hit in taking part to energize our student population and may be worth a try for those experienced with caffeine and looking for a new energy drink that is simpler and more effective.
I ran behind my mother as she walked toward the front door. I followed her knowing she was headed to the market. She looked back at me and smiled; she knew I never missed Saturday grocery shopping. She held my hand tight as I jumped around, the sun guiding our path to the market. As we stepped on rocks to cross the train rails, I finally saw the women selling chicha morada (sweet purple corn drink) by the entrance.
When it comes to annual popularity, some courses tower above the rest — including BIOEE 1540: Introduction to Oceanography and HADM 4300: Introduction to Wines.
The café uses a three-tiered price system for drinks, with the base price using the café-owned mug. Customers net a 50-cent discount for bringing their own mug, which the café does not have to wash, or a 50-cent surcharge for a disposable paper cup.
Between good service, reasonable wait times and a simple and unique menu, U Tea is off to a promising start, and I can’t wait to try the rest of its menu.
