Republican Common Council challenger Zach Winn aims to address increasing poverty and homelessness.
Three instances of burglaries occurred on Saturday, July 8 and another burglary occurred on Tuesday, July 18.
The Ithaca Walmart was one of the 16 Walmart locations targeted in a credit card skimming scheme involving three suspects.
Upon arrival at the store, which is located at 210 S. Cayuga Street, the officers confirmed that a robbery occurred. The suspect allegedly demanded money from the cash registers and implied that he was armed, the release stated.
Upon arriving at the scene, IPD officers stopped a vehicle whose occupants were attempting to leave the scene. According to the release, the occupants’ behavior was deemed suspicious, but no arrests were made.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday, where police officers found two individuals who had been stabbed, a Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department press release said.
