Reflecting on his time at Cornell, Schwarz noted changes he witnessed occurring on campus. Increased diversity in the student body in terms of race and gender, he said, was a major change.
“Mostly through social media, all of us are now producing information — with blogs, websites, Facebook posts, tweets, those kind of things,” Bolton said.
“I think that there is a broader sense that we are all connected in some way. We might have different cultures and different ways of doing things but we’re really all the same human race.”
“Here, everyone’s 20 years old and there’s this energy and embracing of everything that is new and is moving, and if you embrace that, then it keeps you young.”
