Confidence is swelling among men’s swim and dive heading into the championship season.
Men’s and women’s swim and dive are both 2-0 on the season.
“[This race was] a good opportunity to get up and race one last time before the Ivy Championships, allowing us to go into championship season feeling confident and having the best lineup possible.”
The women’s team beat Dartmouth in a tight meet before falling to Harvard, while the men’s team fell to Harvard and Dartmouth.
With great success in the pool as swimmer, in the classroom as a student and in the community as an ambassador, Ilya Evdokimov has won the 29th annual Richie Moran award.
“I’m fortunate enough because I really don’t have to lead much of my team, as they all are very driven individually.”
“The fact that Alex swam his fastest races in prelims, securing himself a position in his final races, is very important and is a good thing.”
Evdkoimov is a three-time Ivy League champion in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
“We were definitely really happy to beat Brown, especially because before the final day it was still very close.
“Tapering down, resting and just getting ready to swim hopefully your fastest time for the season gets everybody really excited.”
