Brunch at Banfi in The Statler Hotel is a must-do. It was a delicious brunch with something for everyone. My sister and I could tell the food was high quality from its exquisite taste and we got more than our money’s worth with the amount we ate.
Cornell can be a cold and hard place. The brutal Ithaca weather combined with equally tough classes can often push some Cornellians to clear their minds through less school sanctioned methods. Imagine this. After finishing an especially tough prelim or paper in the middle of your week, the only thing you want to do is forget about it. As you scroll through Netflix for the most mind-numbing show available, your friend bursts through the door and hands you a drink.
A seemingly innocent mid-September gathering ended with a week of isolation in the Statler Hotel for a group of first-years, who were released only after a series of negative tests.
Amid the quiet and dark Cornell campus, the windows of the Statler Hotel shined bright with a message of hope: The empty hotel’s windows illuminated in the shape of a heart.
Whether you need a place to study alone, meet with coworkers or unwind from a stressful week, the Regent Lounge is the ideal place to do so while treating yourself to delicious food.
The core menu this semester at Establishment is definitely worth checking out if you have the time, even if it’s just for the duck pizza and the Mexican Tart dessert.
